Bold Orange clients including Polaris, Anytime Fitness, Brandless, SPS Commerce, and Christmas Tree Shops, a subsidiary of Bed, Bath & Beyond, Inc. are already benefiting from the combined skills and experiences of the following new team members:
- Garvii Thomas brings remarkable experience in loyalty and 1to1 marketing to his role as director of analytics at Bold Orange. Thomas anchors the company’s southern region and is based in Dallas, Texas. He brings more than 15 years of experience including six-and-a-half years at Hilton Hotels and more than four years at direct marketing agency Ansira, an independent agency specializing in brand-to-local marketing. Thomas earned his Master of Science in applied economics from University of North Texas and his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Midwestern State University.
- As director of strategy, James Vila manages BOCO’s California presence. Previously, Vila led the global customer experience for Cisco Systems where he customized high-value, technology-enabled business transformation strategies for Cisco’s top customers, including JP Morgan Chase, Walgreens, and Wells Fargo. Prior to that, he served as a principal at Peppers & Rogers among other senior leadership roles in marketing. Vila earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Leeds in West Yorkshire, England.
- Amy Hillman joined Bold Orange as chief financial officer and will help manage the company’s growth strategy. Hillman’s prior experience includes leadership roles at OLSON, Snyder’s Drug Store, and Archway Marketing Services. She earned both her undergraduate and Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business.
- Kim Perila-Schlink is leading the marketing for BOCO’s non-profit focused arm, ShopWithScrip, the nation’s leading fundraising company for schools and organizations whereby they partner with more than 750 brands to provide gift cards for fundraising purposes. Perila-Schlink joined Bold Orange from Ovative where she was director, client and marketing services. She earned her bachelor’s from Concordia College and her MBA from Rockhurst University.
